Meet Dr. Gina Rivas Castro
Seeing the Tremendous Impact of Healing Hands
Witnessing from an early age the healing capabilities chiropractic had on her father's health, Dr. Gina was drawn to the profession.
Her studies at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in biology gave her further insight and understanding of the inner workings of the human body which led to her attending Northwestern Health Sciences University and attaining her Doctorate of Chiropractic.
Ethan's Story
Over the past 15+ years, Dr. Gina has had the opportunity to serve families in the Inver Grove Heights community facilitating the innate healing power within the body. From personal experience, she understands the unexpected health challenges that may arise while parenting children. Her firstborn Ethan suddenly developed allergy-induced asthma and after the frustration of following his healthcare provider's recommendations without any improvement, she was determined to find answers and permanent solutions.
With specific neurological chiropractic adjustments along with diet changes, Ethan's body was able to heal, dismissing the opinions of his healthcare providers who believed he would never play sports and be dependent on an inhaler for the rest of his life. Ethan played soccer from 4 and is currently a competitive runner for the Eagan High School Cross-Country and Track team.
This experience ignited her passion for further education in Prenatal and Pediatric chiropractic attaining certifications with the ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association) and Life University. Dr. Gina looks forward to continuing to share the importance of specific neurological chiropractic adjustments and how they can impact the ability to heal and express your full potential of health.
Outside the Office
Dr. Gina and family live in the Inver Grove Heights area. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her fiancé and two children Ethan and Eliana who have become her favorite travel mates soaking in the sun on a beach or testing their limits hiking. She enjoys doing anything active including working out, and trail running but also enjoys relaxing with friends and family or getting lost in a great book. Dr. Gina and the family are ready for their next adventure!
